The German DJ has released a colorful new video, positioned between nostalgia and hope.
After having collaborated with singers such as Coco Maria, Cibelle and Çantamarta, the founder of the label Man Recordings is back with an instrumental track made for clubs, or at least, what’s left of them, i.e. livestreams blasted on your living room speakers.
Despite social distancing, Daniel Haaksman has taken up the challenge to help us forget the health crisis. His new track, entitled “Vem,” which means “to come” in Portuguese, plunges us into a universe that is both melancholic and joyful. As listeners, we feel the nostalgia of the dance floors, but also the loneliness evoked. In the video, which is animated by Vinzent Britz, the atmosphere of the song is perfectly illustrated by a bestiary of flaming birds that waddle around waiting for the party, the real one that we hope comes sooner or later.
